There are very few sites that offer good information to buyers, sellers, and investors so I hope you will look over my "free" information sheets and find them useful. Not much is free anymore, lol. The more you can understand about real estate the better you can do at buying, selling or investing. I feel so strongly about clients being informed that I have devoted my site to information and education. Finding The Right Real Estate Agent

People don't talk about it a lot. But finding the right real estate agent can be the difference between a happy, stress-free home buying, selling or investing experience, and an unhappy, stressful experience. First; You will want an agent who gives you the information needed to make good choices. An educated client feels much more comfortble with the process and comes out on top.

Second; You will want an agent ready and able to make a full-time commitment to you. I am a full time agent with a "Brokers" license and I DO NOT use any "assistants" "specialist" "team members" "associates". You will always be able to reach me without using "voice-mail and waiting". I can and will do that.

Third; You will want an agent with the experience, knowlwdge and information needed to guide you concerning the local area, neighborhoods, schools, market conditions, ordinances, etc. For buyers and investors you will want someone with experience in foreclosures, REO's, HUD and other bargain properties. With over 35 years of buying/selling plus having rental properties of my own and having "flipped", I have the expertise and track record of success you need.

Fourth; You will want an agent who embraces the convenience of technology without losing the personal touch. As a buyer, you'll love the the opportunity to view all homes meeting your requirements in the privacy of your own home. This will never replace the time I spend with you actually viewing homes, but it will save you a great deal of time looking at homes that you do not like. As a seller you will know what your competetion is and will recive regular feedback from potential buyers. I will serve as your personal guide through this exciting process.

Fifth; You will want an agent who does not pressure you to buy or sell because they need the commission to pay their own mortgage. To most agents real estate is simply a business and a way to make income so they will want to show buyers only a few homes have them quickly pick from this selection so they can move on to the next client. Or pressure a seller to take the first offer they receive so they can move on. I'm different, and will be sure the buyer sees ALL the homes that meet their criteria, no matter how long it takes, and, if you are a seller, I will see that you receive the highest possible price for you home.

Sixth; You will want an agent with knowledge of an extended area so they can suggest alternative locations where you can get much more home for the money. Most agents concentrate on such a small area they never know that someting better can be had just a short distance away. Options are always good so don't miss out. I cover Cobb, Paulding, Douglas and Cheorkee counties extensively. But I also have great experience in Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinett, Forsyth, Bartow, Polk, Pickens, Haralson, Bartow and Carroll counties. So, if you are looking to buy or sell a home in north or west georgia, I don't think you will find an agent with wider knowledge or experience.

Last but not least; If you are relocating to the area you will want an agent who really knows the area, the schools, the traffic flow and the neighborhoods so you do not land in a place where you will never be happy. Coming from a distant locale, you cannot be sure so you must depend on an agent to give you the facts and the truth. I have the knowledge and information you need.
