Well, yes and no, lol. What's good and what's bad about buying in the spring? The good stuff first: Selection is enormous, interest rates are very low, most sellers are open to negotiation, school will be out soon and move is easier on the kids, a lot of foreclosures on the market makes for some nice bargains. Now for the bad: more competetion from other buyers, credit is somewhat harder to get, normally a better time for sellers, you will have to pay a little more than you would at slow times of the year, you will get fewer concessions from the seller. All that being said, the market still favors buyers over sellers, so get ready to buy.
