WHO AM I??
Wheather you are a buyer or a seller, you need to know and understand who is going to be representing you in real estate transactions. Am I a good "fit" for you and your situation?
First of all I am a REALTOR and as such I fully subscribe to the code of ethics of the NAR. Click here to read the complete code REALTORS CODE OF ETHICS.pdf. I'm also confident I am different than any other agent you will find and equally confident the differences will work to your advantage. What are the differences? Let me spell them out for you in simple terms.
1. I am a one man operation, by choice. Because, I do not believe you should have to deal with a myriad of people to get answers. I deal directly with each and every client, never using "assistants", "specialist", "team members" or secretaries. When you have a question you will speak directly with me, and get immediate answers. I answer my own phone and personally hate voice mail. My office phone automatically transfers to my cell when I am away from my office. I can be reached at any time of the night or day by phone and I prefer it that way. I never take on more clients than I can service in the manner I would like to be serviced.
2. I'm 63 years old and have been successfully buying/selling all my adult life. That's a lot of experience and learning, which cannot be matched by many agents. This is my only job and I take it seriously. Buying or selling a home is too important to trust to someone with little experience. I do real estate because of a love of the job, not for making my "fortune". I was one of 3 owners of a chain of 17 retail stores in Indiana before moving back to my home of GA in '97. We sold the company in Indiana after 30 successful years.
3. While most agents work for a living, I work for enjoyment. I own 3 homes presently and 4 vehicles. I have no mortgages or loans on any of them so I do not have to "pressure" you to buy or sell in a hurry so I can make my payments! I give you the time needed to find the right home or buyer. You are much more than a "client" in my book. I am not satisfied until you are satisfied.
4. I invest in real estate and have successfully "flipped" homes. So I know how to get you the very best price on a home. And I know which ones are a bargain and which ones are overpriced. Having bought HUD properties myself, I know how it is done and the potential drawbacks. Experience few agents have.
5. I have a "Brokers" license so my education is greater than most agents. I could open my own office but choose not to since I do no want the bookeeping involved. Much more knowledge and schooling is required for a brokers license. There is no substitute for experince and knowledge.
Well, now you know me certainly better than I know you! But I would like to get to know you and work together to get your home bought or sold. Give me a call and we'll get going right away. I promise it will be a good experience for you. Thanks, Phil
